This is probably my most ambitious project to date.

About 45 hours,

Materials:
A4 smooth Bristol.
2b mechanical,3b,5b,9b woodcased.

techniques used :
a grid, blending, alot of blending, stipling, reverse stipling, hatching, circlism and indentations.

Thanks to for letting me use the ref.

Now this is the kind of realism in traidtional art I love, the character lines, the personality and the details of age and experiance that shows in his face. wrinkles can be a wonderful thing to draw on people. They reveal alot about the person and the fact you captured them, showing the history in his face. brilliant job done.. :)

Odin you've done a brilliant job! People often say drawings look like photogtaphs but doesn't look like that, but this drawing definately does! Compliment! Your efford was worth it. The lines are so perfectly drawn and tell their story. I'm very impressed! :+fav:

As you know, the hair is the part of the drawing that impressed me the most ;) But his skin wrinkles and the rest of the drawing are amazing too! You must be very proud of it now youve finally finished, arent you? hehe :) Congratulations again Odin....and as I told you before...keep the good work up!! :D
